Suggested Articles:
Inexpensive camera, books, stamps, postcards, stationary, pens, tennis racquet & balls & golf gear (if you plan to play), sunglasses, sewing kit, iPod or personal music player, flashlight & batteries, extra eye glasses
We also highly recommend you buy a pedometer to get in the habit of tracking your steps, while at SDR and then at home. This lists various top-rated, reasonably priced models, but any model will do nicely.
Special Instructions:
Label all luggage with name and address
All clothing should be plainly marked with your name using a nametag or indelible ink
Label all extra articles such as CD’s, tennis racquets, soap dishes, etc.
All liquids should be put into Zip-Lock bags

Storage space for clothing is very limited – please follow this suggested Packing Guide. You need eight to ten days of clothing since laundry service is available once a week. We suggest you bring $30 - $40/week for laundry and spending money and a credit card to cover spa services and excursion costs not otherwise included.
