Behavior Change Program
We all know that most people who struggle with their weight do so because there are factors that cause them to eat other than hunger and reasons they won’t exercise other than lack of time.
The ultimate challenge is what happens when you leave Shane Diet & Fitness Resorts. What tools do you need to continue the good habits, weight loss, and exercise patterns established at while with us?
To address that challenge – and truly help our guests achieve a lasting life behavior change — Shane Diet & FitnessResorts has implemented a Behavior Change Program led by a Behavioral Coach.
Our Behavioral Coach leads participants along their journey to success by helping them recognize and change the behaviors that keep them from a permanent lifestyle change.
This program is a practical, nuts and bolts program using time tested and accepted techniques to establish lasting behavior change.
Through:
- Workshops
- Small group sessions
- Guest to guest bonding
- Getting to know you games
Guests will:
- Discuss their obstacles
- Develop techniques to apply when they go home or back to school such as journaling
- Learn the power of relying on friends (such as those made at Shane) and family
Issues addressed include:
- Self esteem
- Stress
- Emotional eating
- Inappropriate behavior
- Family obstacles
- Mindful eating and living
